Welcome to the Vaults…

Or the Taps as we’re nicknamed locally!

Built in 1876, the Ilkley Moor Hotel burnt down in 1968 and the Vaults is the last remaining part of the original building. It’s had many previous lives as an officers’ training school in WWII, a school room and a pool hall – we always love hearing stories from people who know its history and welcome any local historians who have additional information on this site to pop down and share their knowledge!

The Vaults is now back to being a friendly, traditional pub at the heart of the local community.

We specialise in freshly prepared food, made by our experienced AA Rosette chef headed kitchen team, using the best quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers… sometimes even picked straight from our pub garden, at our kitchen backdoor!

In Summer, you can come and enjoy the sunshine in our leafy beer garden or cosy up by our roaring open fire in Winter. Upstairs is our 100-capacity function room, available for parties and weddings, which is also used by different community groups during the week.  

The Vaults caters for everyone – families & children, walkers, cyclists and even your four-legged furry friends!

Saturday we serve food 12-9pm

Sundays we serve food 12-6pm

We’re closed on Mondays except for Bank Holidays.

We also specialise in parties & weddings and upstairs we have a lovely large function room. Come in & have a look!
